A Stephen’s Series Caring Ministry Workshop will be offered March 8 (Saturday) at Cornerstone Church , 2045 68th Street SE , Caledonia . Any size group form our congregation may attend as the elders have registered for four or more. While Stephens ministry is for people in the congregation, the pastor will also be attending to learn more about his ministry. See Pastor Lou if you would like to attend. Stephen Ministry caregivers provide one-to-one Christian care to the bereaved, hospitalized, terminally ill, separated, divorced, unemployed, relocated, and others facing a crisis or life challenge.

Girl’s Night Out

Missions Conference

Missions Conference: Save Saturday, March 8, 8:30-3:30, for this family oriented event which focuses on OPC mission efforts. Hosted by Spencer Mills Church in Gowen. Breakfast and lunch are provided. Staffed nursery and activities for 3yrs-8th grade are available during morning and afternoon programs. There will also be events geared for those in high school. Winter Youth Retreat

Mark your calendar! The 2008 OPC Winter Youth Retreat “all-nighter” will be held at the downtown YMCA in Grand Rapids on January 25-26 for 7-12th grade students and interested parents. Our speaker will be Mr. Paul Green, executive director of Hope for Chattanooga. The YMCA facility amenities include two swimming pools, a water slide, two climbing walls, two full basketball courts, squash and racquetball courts and other exercise equipment. The cost of the retreat will be $25. Hope to see you there!

Women’s Bible Studies

Two Women’s Studies are currently meeting—one on Tuesday and one on Thursday, both at 9:30am. The Tuesday group is studying the seven deadly sins. The Thursday group is going through the book of Romans.

Family Night will be taking a break for the month of December. It will resume January 9. See you then!

Thursday morning Women’s Study: A new study for women has just begun meeting They will be going through a book in the Christianity 101 series, Romans: Understanding God’s Grace and Power.
