Girls everywhere – you are invited to join us for fun and fellowship as we learn what it means to walk humbly with our God. Girls grades 1st through 8th grades meet on Wednesday evenings 6:00pm for pizza ($2 donation) and at 6:30 we have opening song time, prayer and then break off into our own small groups for crafts and bible time ending at 7:30pm.
November events: November 6, 5:30-7:00 spaghetti dinner (everyone is invited)
November 18 is our last class for 2009 and we will have a special time of prayer for the Alpha Family center as we put together our “Baby Christmas Tree”. The tree is filled with slips of paper listing baby items that the center needs. People take the slips and return the item placing it under the tree. The GEMS girls deliver the items to the center in January and get a tour and explanation of their services while we provide the service of bundling diapers and hanging clothes. It is such a blessing to see everyone so touched by this kindness. God has richly blessed us with this opportunity.
